Hello and welcome to our new blog page. Please free to leave any comments (good or bad) about the Village Hall. The Amenities Association committee really would welcome your criticisms or suggestions for improvement. We are a very small team who have taken on a massive improvement project over the last year and would appreciate some new people joining the committee. Please come and help us carry out some more ambitious work on the hall.

I might be interested in starting an "oldies" badminton group. Can you tell me if the bookings diary is up to date, so that I can see what spaces are available over the winter please.

Would it be feasible to have a notice attached to the broom cupboard, pointing out that after using the scissors to clean the floor it would be appreciated if groups then cleaned them with the Henry. It would save the next users having clean them beforeusing to finish the floor. Thanks Richard

May and I would like to express our thanks and gratitude to all the committee, helpers and Darren for putting on the best Senior citizens party that we can recall. The hall was nicely decorated the menu was extensive, food quality marvellous, the service great and the music very appropriate for the occasion and extremely well played.
Many Many thanks for a wonderful evening.
Keith and May Leech.

Hi, I think i read somewhere that someone had posted a note (somewhere) that a pair of red cycling gloves had been left at the village hall recently. if they are still about (and are fingerless type) then its likely that they are mine. If you still have them then reply to this text - I do the tai chi class on a Monday so can pick them up then Thank you. If they have gone dont worry. Byeee
